Glen Summer ADU

This project is for a detached ADU/Guest House/Office structure for a home we previously designed in Pasadena, CA. Please refer to the project titled Arbor Dell to view the main residence. The proposed building is located on the lower pad of the one acre property with views of the private spring fed lake, which are the remains of an early 1900’s golf course. The building, although detached, is connected from a visual and planning standpoint, by the alignment of walls and pathways, extending from the main house like that of the roots of the mature sycamore trees on the property. The exterior massing follows the forms of the main house and incorporates a roof deck to take advantage of views of the lake. The interior includes a Great Room, and two other spaces which can double as an Office, Gym or Bedrooms.
