This project is located on a ridgeline in Trousdale Estates, with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, San Fernando Valley and the Los Angeles Basin. The scope of the work included the addition of approximately 2,500 sq. ft. and the complete renovation of the existing 2,000 square foot single story residence. The project included a complete reorganization of the floor plan to open up the existing compartmentized rooms into a more open floor plan with expansive use of glass openings to optimize the views. The existing pitched roof was removed and replaced with a flat roof design reminiscent of the 1950’s modern.
