Set on three adjacent parcels in the Venice Canals, the proposed compound is inspired by the courtyard style architecture of Morocco and Mali. Defined by a detached one story Guest House-Studio to the south, and a multi-level Main Residence to the north, which embrace the private yard and garden in the center. This colorful, multilevel composition of undulating massing, interior-exterior interrelationships and solid-void massing take advantage of private views of the garden and more public vistas of the Canals.
