Located on Abbot Kinney Blvd., in the heart of Venice, this project consists of three attached artist loft-residences. Each unit includes combined artist live-work spaces, with the commercial-public space on the ground floor, addressing the Abbot Kinney street scene with the more private work and living quarters on the upper two levels. The idea of merging art with architecture is being introduced into the project by collaborating with local artists. The intent is to allow the architecture to provide an urban scale canvas for which the artist can in turn layer another dimension to the architecture.
