This proposed residence and attached barn is located on a 20 acre parcel in the rural foothills of Somis. The Owners who raise prize winning animals wanted a home where they can maintain their close relationship with their animals while enjoying the vistas of the adjacent agricultural landscape. The design is inspired by farm/ranch vernacular with deep and wide porches, rustic materials and an adjacent down wind barn, linked by a covered breezeway to the house.
