Located on a deep and gentle up-sloping lot in the City of El Segundo, this multi-level Spanish Mission style residence is nestled into the terrain. Working with the topography we created an eight car garage, shop and home theater, all partially below grade without negatively imposing over the existing neighboring context. The design is rooted in the traditional Spanish motif with elements such as courtyards, colonnades, towers, thick walls, wrought iron work, and large volume wood trussed living areas.
